The Priory of Sion was thrust into the limelight by The Da Vinci Code. Here at last, in Robert Howells’ Inside the Priory of Sion, is an insider’s guide to this mysterious organization.
Near Rennes-le-Château in France, a group of priests concealed a secret: Jesus and Mary Magdalene married and created a bloodline of descendants. This is just part of the enigma surrounding the mysterious order linked with tombs, temples and alchemy. This is the first book to draw on evidence from the Priory itself, showing that information is being released to prepare the world for an apocalyptic event to culminate in the emergence of a savior belonging to the bloodline of Christ.
The Priory of Sion has fiercely guarded its secrets—until now.

Robert Howells has written a circuitous hodgepodge under the semblance of “research”. A book full of statements such as: I was shown but not at liberty to reveal,I read documents but ... I saw tunnels but couldn’t get in and other wild speculations about symbols from Rosicrucian and Freemasonry lore in art, paintings and church architecture. I feel this was a real waste of time to read and nothing new. Where were there any "new" revelations? Just building on the Priory fables? A real disappointment.

The book is a most pleasant surprise! The author weaves the varying parts of the history into comprehensive and comprehensible units that impart lots of information in a well-written, understandable book. Absolutely fascinating!
